NEET 2026 Registration Open: Apply Before February 28

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the registration window for NEET UG 2026. Aspiring medical students can now fill the application form on the official NTA website at neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is February 28, 2026, and candidates are advised not to wait until the last day to avoid server congestion and technical issues.

The application process involves registration, filling in personal and academic details, uploading scanned documents (photograph, signature, and category certificate if applicable), and payment of the application fee. The fee for General category is Rs 1,700, for General-EWS and OBC-NCL it is Rs 1,600, and for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates it is Rs 1,000. Payment can be made through credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

Candidates are reminded to keep their Class 12 marksheet, Aadhaar card, and a recent passport-size photograph ready before starting the application. The photograph must be taken after January 1, 2026, and should meet the specifications mentioned in the information bulletin. Any discrepancy in the uploaded documents may lead to rejection of the application. NTA has also announced that correction windows will be available in March for candidates who need to modify their application details.
