CUET UG 2026 Exam Dates Announced: Exam from May 15 to June 5

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the exam schedule for CUET UG 2026. The exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode from May 15 to June 5, 2026, across approximately 500 cities in India and select cities abroad. This extended window allows NTA to accommodate the massive number of applicants, expected to cross 15 lakh this year.

The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts across the exam window, with candidates receiving their specific exam date and shift details on their admit cards. Unlike previous years, NTA has decided to minimize the number of days between different sections for the same candidate, reducing the overall exam duration per student. Candidates appearing for multiple domain subjects may have their exams scheduled on consecutive days.

Universities participating in CUET 2026 include all 45 Central Universities, over 60 state and private universities, and several deemed universities. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the March 15 deadline and ensure they have selected the correct subjects aligned with their target university requirements. NTA will also provide free mock tests on their website starting April 1, 2026, to help candidates familiarize themselves with the online exam interface.
